About Us

Mission Statement:
SORT.org is a planet-focused interactive community portal, database and educational forum. We provide a direct link between individuals and organizations working on environmental and animal welfare issues.

By joining together, we unite environmentalists as well as individuals who support the preservation of natural resources, land conservation and the welfare of all living creatures. This unique opportunity is perhaps the first attempt to bring together multiple interests who share a common philosophical respect for our planet, nature, and animal welfare. If successful, the combined representation and cross collaboration of our efforts will in effect change the future forever.

Our History:
SORT (Saving Our Resources Today) began in the early 1980’s as a private resource recycling company serving municipal recycling programs in the Northeast. Over the past fifteen years, SORT has evolved into an enterprise, which supports environmental issues and concerns.

Today, SORT has formed a partnership with The Arctic Financial Corporation called The SORT Organization. Arctic Financial, a private financial services corporation based in New Jersey, is committed to protecting our earth’s natural resources. Through direct funding, Arctic Financial has pledged its support in developing the SORT.Org concept. Arctic Financial believes the private sector as well as individuals and our elected officials all have a role to play in conserving resources, protecting our environment or just promoting the balance between man and nature.

It is our hope that through SORT.org, we become a direct link between you and the environmental and animal welfare organizations that matter most to you.
