The Animal Acres Gala

Twenty years ago, Farm Sanctuary co-founder Lorri Bauston opened the country’s first shelter for farm animals to change the way people view and treat cows, pigs, and chickens — and it was the beginning of a revolution for animals used for food production. Working with compassionate people like you who want to help all animals, thousands of animals have been rescued and provided safe refuge, millions of people have been educated and compelled to protect farmed animals, and humane protection laws have been passed to ban cruel meat industry practices.
Now, they have a unique opportunity to join together again, to create the new Los Angeles farm animal sanctuary & compassionate living center. The Animal Acres Gala is a benefit to raise needed funding to build barns, construct fencing, and purchase farm equipment. Your kindness and generosity will help them save many more suffering farmed animals, and teach people that farmed animals need protection, and love, too.
Animal Acres Gala Chair James Cromwell and a host of special friends of farmed animals invite YOU to celebrate 20 years of rescuing and protecting farmed animals with Farm Sanctuary co-founder and Animal Acres president Lorri Bauston.
The Gala event includes a Cowtail Party with L.A.'s favorite veg restaurants, gourmet vegan dinner by Madeleine Bistro, celebrity award ceremony special guest presentations, musical entertainment & starlit dancing, and silent auction for animals -- all in their beautiful courtyard, next to their rescued farmed animal friends! It's guaranteed to be memorable!

Gala Attire is black tie. Please note the Gala will take place outdoors in the Animal Acres sanctuary courtyard and a wrap or light jacket is recommended.
